About

I am a Experience Designer with over 6 years of experience at IBM iX Japan. I have abundant knowledge and expertise in improving the employee experience with the Design Thinking approach. I've also led several teams designing mobile app UIs.(Both iOS and Android) Now, I can take on a full range of responsibilities, from business conceptualization, research to building and designing the app. My strength is to have expertise in multiple design disciplines.
I am currently studying at Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology to be a strategic designer capable of addressing complex challenges by designing customer-centric, innovative, yet feasible, and sustainable solutions. To achieve this goal, I believe that it is essential to be equipped with a deep understanding of business, design, and technology, as well as the ability to combine those three.

My approach

Uncover hidden needs and desires through a combination of research methods

Any project I was involved in started with a deep understanding of users from micro and macro level perspectives. I specialize in quantitative research, from ethnographic research to interviews, surveys, and usability testing, and developing insights.

Explore desirable, viable, and feasible solutions through prototyping

I translate research insights into tangible artifacts such as diagrams, customer journey maps, stories, and digital/physical prototypes. I believe it is significantly helpful in stakeholder alignment and decision-making to visualize ideas quickly and reiterate them through feedback from teammates and clients.
